The Swing Bed Program at Gunnison Valley Hospital consists of a  type of in-patient service which is a lower level of care than acute in-patient services.  It is primarily used for rehabilitation.  Skilled care services at Gunnison Valley Hospital is Short Term Rehabilitative Skilled nursing.

The purpose of the Swing Bed Program is to provide alternative types of care with each specific type of service meeting a special need in the community. We encourage the family to be and active part of the patients care. The length of stay is determined by your physician and your rehabilitation progress.
